Q5 What is NPL-2003?
NPL-2003 is Neuropharm’s program in pediatric OCD based on an existing marketed product that we believe could be of benefit to pediatric OCD sufferers.
It appears to have an excellent profile as a potential treatment by regulating and controlling the levels of the neurotransmitter, glutamate, which is often raised in OCD patients.
Neuropharm completed two small open-label Phase II studies of NPL-2003 at two university hospitals in the US in 2008. The study results are intended for publication.
