Autism

Autism is a complex neurodevelopmental condition. It is a life-long condition, and usually appears within the first three years of childhood.

Autism is diagnosed on the basis of three key impairments comprising deficits in social interaction, communication skills and a tendency to engage in rigid or specific behaviour patterns.
